The morning after our Mountain Hardwear Trail Dreams Roadshow, Liz Derstine is heading out on the Outlaw Trails and has invited anyone who wants to come along.
Liz is a Mountain Hardwear trail athlete who ran the Pacific Crest Trail self-supported in 69 days, 13 hours, and 53 minutes, the third fastest self-supported run by a woman in history. She's also a professional pianist and composer.
But.
This is not a race, and she is not there to push the pace. She's there because the Outlaw Trails are worth getting up early for and mornings like this are better with people in them.
The run is three to five miles on easy to moderate terrain, with multiple loop options depending on what the group wants. Plan to be done by 8:00. Bring water, wear layers, and don't worry about your pace.
Meet at the Outlaw Trails trailhead at 6:45 AM. No registration required - just show up.
